Peripheral Simulation

For Micronas SDA 6000 — Timer Block GPT2 (T5, T6)

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Timer/Counter 5 Dialog

Timer/Counter 5

The Timer/Counter 5 dialog allows you to view and change the SFRs associated with Timer/Counter 5. This timer/counter is a general purpose unit which may be used for timing, counting, and so on.

  • Mode contains the operating mode and the input selector for the timer.
  • T5UDE is the external up/down control enable.
  • T5EUD is the external up/down control input. This value is obtained from the T5EUD input pin.
  • T5UD is the timer up/down control.
  • Direction displays whether the timer/counter counts up or down.
  • Capture selects the mode of the capture trigger.
  • T5SC enables or disables capture into the CAPREL SFR.
  • CAPIN contains the state of the CAPIN pin of the MCU.
  • CRIR is the Interrupt Request flag for the CAPREL (Capture/Reload) SFR.
  • CAPREL is the value of the Capture/Reload SFR.
  • T5CLR specifies whether or not Timer 5 is cleared on a capture.
  • Status displays the current status of the timer.
  • T5 contains the value of the T5 SFR which is the current timer value or count.
  • T5CON contains the value of the T5CON SFR which is the current configuration for timer 5.
  • T5R is the Timer 5 Run flag.
  • T5IN is the Timer 5 Input value.
  • T5IR is the Timer 5 Interrupt Request flag.

Timer/Counter 6 Dialog

Timer/Counter 6

The Timer/Counter 6 dialog allows you to view and change the SFRs associated with Timer/Counter 6. This timer/counter is a general purpose unit which may be used for timing, counting, and so on.

  • Mode contains the operating mode and the input selector for the timer.
  • T6UDE is the external up/down control enable.
  • T6EUD is the external up/down control input. This value is obtained from the T6EUD input pin.
  • T6UD is the timer up/down control.
  • Direction displays whether the timer/counter counts up or down.
  • T6OTL is the output toggle latch flag.
  • T6OE is the timer output enable flag.
  • T6OUT is the state of the T6OUT output pin.
  • Status displays the current status of the timer.
  • CAPREL is the value of the Capture/Reload SFR.
  • T6 contains the value of the T6 SFR which is the current timer value or count.
  • T6CON contains the value of the T6CON SFR which is the current configuration for timer 6.
  • T6R is the Timer 6 Run flag.
  • T6IN is the Timer 6 Input value.
  • T6SR is the Timer 6 Reload Mode Enable flag.
