Peripheral Simulation

For STMicroelectronics STR730FZ2 — External Interrupts (XTI)

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

External Interrupts Dialog

External Interrupts

The External Interrupts Dialog displays the status of all simulated MCU external interrupts. The line, source, port, mask and interrupt state for each interrupt is displayed. You may select and configure each interrupt using the following control groups:

Selected Line

  • Pn.n (Interrupt Pin) is set to indicate an interrupt trigger was detected on this pin.
  • EITE0.n (External Interrupt Trigger Event configuration Bit 0.n) is bit 0 of 3 the bits that define how interrupt n is configured.
  • EITE1.n (External Interrupt Trigger Event configuration Bit 1.n) is bit 1 of 3 the bits that define how interrupt n is configured.
  • EITE2.n (External Interrupt Trigger Event configuration Bit 2.n) is bit 2 of the 3 bits that define how interrupt n is configured.

External Interrupt Trigger Event Registers

  • CFG_EITE0 (External Interrupt Trigger Event Register 0) detemines which type of event on each input pin will trigger an interrupt request.
  • CFG_EITE1 (External Interrupt Trigger Event Register 1) detemines which type of event on each input pin will trigger an interrupt request.
  • CFG_EITE2 (External Interrupt Trigger Event Register 2) detemines which type of event on each input pin will trigger an interrupt request.
