Peripheral Simulation

For NXP (founded by Philips) LPC2103 — System Control & Status

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

System Control & Status Dialog

The System Control & Status dialog allows you to display and edit the configuration of the System Control & Status flags. The controls in this dialog are as follows:

System Control & Status

  • SCS (SCS Control Register) contains the following control and status settings:
  • GPIOM (GPIO Mode) is set to enable the high-speed GPIO ports 0 and 1.
  • EMC Reset Disable (External Memory Controller Reset Disable) is set to prevent the EMC from resetting during a reset event.
  • MCIPWR Active Level (MCIPWR Pin Control) 0 sets a low-active level, 1 sets a high-active level.
  • OSCRANGE (Main Oscillator Range Select) sets the main oscillator range. 0 sets a reange of 1 MHz to 20 MHz, and 1 sets a range of 15 MHz to 24 MHz.
  • OSCEN (Main Oscillator Enable) is set to enable the main oscillator.
  • OSCSTAT (Main Oscillator Status) is set by the hardware to indicate that the main oscillator is stable and ready for use.
