Keil Announces C251 Version 4

Plano, TX: Keil is pleased to announce C251 Version 4. C251 supports all variants of the 251 family of microcontrollers including the latest IP cores from Dolphin. Version 4 is now based on the popular µVision3 IDE, contains several compiler enhancements, and includes complete simulation for all popular 251 devices and IP cores.

The improvements include:

  • New register allocation method in the C251 compiler that enhances the overall performance.
  • Several code optimization when using a mixture of char/int/long data types.
  • Enhancments with bit-field operations.
  • µVision3 based context sensitive on-line help in the IDE and configuration dialogs.
  • Enhancements in the µVision3 Configuration Wizard and Logic Analyzer.
