DSCOPE: I/O PORTS NOT UPDATING
Information in this article applies to:
- C166 Version 4.05
- C51 Version 6.01
- µVision2 Version 2.05
QUESTION
When running the debugger and I select the one of the I/O ports to view. Why does it not update?
ANSWER
The reason it does not update is because by default the periodic window update is not selected. To enable this feature you must, go to the menu and select view, then select periodic window update. You should now see the bits change as desired.
