µVISION: ASSEMBLER PROBLEMS IMPORTING C251 SOURCE-MODE
Information in this article applies to:
- C251 Version 3.00
- µVision Version 2.10
SYMPTOMS
When importing a µVision project for the C251 into µVision Version 2, assembly files are built in BINARY mode rather than SOURCE mode.
CAUSE
This problem is caused by the µVision IDE not passing the MODSRC directive to the assembler. Note that C files are compiled with MODSRC. Only the assembly files are built incorrectly.
RESOLUTION
This problem is corrected in µVision V2.11 and later.
