ULINK: USB CONNECTION IS LOST ON WINDOWS 98

QUESTION

My operating system is Windows 98. I was able to install ULINK, but µVision frequently loses connection. Is ULINK compatible with my OS?

ANSWER

Note that Microsoft first introduced USB support with Windows 98 Second Edition. Windows 98 does not have USB support at all. If you are using a VIA chipset take a look at the VIA Support Page
