DSCOPE: C166 MEMORY SPACES

QUESTION

In the dScope for Windows User's Guide on page 102, various memory spaces are described which relate to the MCS-51 and MCS-251 memory architectures. Are these relevent to the C166?

ANSWER

No. The C166 has one 16Mb address space into which both code and data is placed. All the physically separated memory areas are mapped into this single address space.

When using dScope with the C166, the prefixes decribed in the manual are not used.
