DSCOPE: SIMULATING AN 80C52

SYMPTOMS

I am trying to simulate an 80C52 using the 8052.DLL, however I cannot get the programmable Clock-Out from timer 2 to work, instead it vectors to the timer 2 interrupt service routine. How do I enable this feature?

CAUSE

The 8052.DLL does not simulate the programmable clock-out feature on the 80C52.

RESOLUTION

The Clock-Out mode is not supported in dScope for any 8051 device that features it. The 8052 is very similar to the 80C52 and the 8052.DLL can successfully be used to simulate the 80C52 in most cases.
