QUESTION

How do I view my source files in dScope?

ANSWER

First, you must select the proper options in µVision.

  1. From the options menu, choose assembler options, object tab, and select 'include debug information.'
  2. From the options menu, choose compiler, listing tab, select 'include symbols.' Then go to the object tab, and select 'include debug' and 'include extended debug.'
  3. From the options menu, choose BL51 Code Banking Linker. Choose the listing tab, select 'include local symbols' , 'include public symbols', and 'include line numbers.' Then choose the linking tab and select those same three again.
  4. In dScope, in the debug window, pull down the commands menu. Select 'view high level' or 'view mixed' as desired.
